Game Day concessions are a great way to volunteer your time to raise money for our program. Your hours volunteered will help contribute to your team's fundraising goal. Once a season schedule is available, we will post more information about volunteering to help with concessions and how to sign up.
But there is something you can do to help us prepare!
In order to sell prepared food onsite at our concessions, we must have a food safety person present. The training class is just 90 minutes of your time on a weeknight and you'll be done before practice is over. The next available food safety workshops are:
August 31st 6-7:30pm
September 14th 5:30-7pm
September 28th 6-7:30pm
To sign up for the workshop, please download this form and submit it at least 10 days prior to the workshop. BRYC will pay the fee in advance so you do not need to worry about that.
You do not need this certification in order to volunteer for concessions. However, unless somebody with this certification is onsite when you volunteer, we will not be able to serve prepared foods which are big sellers during the lunch and dinner hours.
Interested in getting more involved?
We would like to put together a concessions team that will be available to help out in additional ways with concessions throughout the season. This would help spread the tasks out over multiple people instead of one or two handling it all. If interested, please contact our Concessions Coordinator (see below).
